Marcie Schorr Hirsch
Marcie Schorr Hirsch is a nationally recognized thought leader and consultant on workplace and career issues. In 1993, following a series of leadership roles at major colleges and universities, Marcie co-founded HirschHills Consulting, a boutique management consulting firm applying innovative strategies to undertake pivotal, change-focused efforts in organizations and, through coaching, to key employees. In 2019, Marcie and Jane Moulding co-founded SmarterWisdom Consulting to utilize a state-of the-art toolbox composed of high quality research, innovative reframing and practice-informed expertise to tackle client challenges.
Marcie’s research is focused on the choices that underpin highly successful careers, and is the co-author of three books on Work, Leadership and Career Development as well as the author of numerous articles on these topics for magazines and journals. She blogs on the Harvard Business Review on-line vehicle (HBR.org) is regularly featured as an expert on work and career issues on television and radio (the Today show, Chronicle, PBS OnPoint, local and national news programs) and is a former President of the Human Resource Leadership Forum.
